Large granite step, St John's Hall, Penzance
The Penzance Town Trail leaflet says this step, 5.75m x 1m, is one of the largest pieces of granite ever quarried. Also see Image for front view.

Front steps to St John's Hall, Penzance
St John's Hall was built from Lamorna granite in 1867, designed by John Matthews. It was a natural history museum, and there are now plans to refurbish it for use of the council. The top step is one of the largest pieces of granite ever quarried, see Image
