Carved stone post by the UC road (former A3047), in parish of CARN BREA (KERRIER District), Trevenson Road, Pool, Tuckingmill, against wall of B&Q superstore, on South side of road. Erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Carved bench mark on lower righthand face.
Grade II listed.

The Opie Building, University Centre in Cornwall at Camborne
A composition of curves makes this an inviting subject. The low entrance to the Opie building seems to be environmentally appropriate in the local terrain. The Penhaligon building can be seen on the right.

Penhaligon Building, Cornwall College, Camborne
One of the buildings at the University Centre in Cornwall. The rosemary in the foreground is planted in a bed in front of the entrance to the Opie building. A transmitter mast carries the information traffic that we take for granted.
