David Kemp's sculpture, cast in bronze from discarded Wellington boots left behind by miners, have met a mixed reaction from locals

The artist based them on a previous work http://www.axisweb.org/seWORK.aspx?WORKID=13629&PID=414&POP=1 in which he identified the breed as "cannus stannus geevoritii".
