The Parish Church of the Holy Trinity Penponds
This Victorian church, consecrated on 15 May 1854, is reputed to be one of the most beautiful churches in Cornwall and was said by John Betjeman to be "a complete period piece of the high Church good taste". At the time of my visit I was unaware of this and I was unable to view the interior, so I missed a sight of the unexpected splendour which can be seen here: http://www.stmarys-sundon.info/fr_yendas_pages/church_visits/holy_trinity,_penponds.htm. A lot more interesting information is available here: http://camborne.wikidot.com/penponds-church
