Praze-an-Beeble, Fore Street
Praze an Beeble (Cornish: Pras an Bibel), sometimes shortened to Praze, is a village that lies between the nearby towns of Camborne (2.5 miles) and Helston (7 miles).

Converted Methodist Chapel
This building was one of two Methodist chapels in Praze-an-Beeble. It closed in 1999 and has been converted into private accommodation.

Praze-an-Beeble
Pronounced "Praise", the name of this village stems from words meaning meadow (praze) and culvert (beeble). The culverted stream to which this refers runs underneath the road pictured here, no longer a meadow. This photograph was taken in October on a typically dank day with the hill-fog down across the land.
