Granite Terrace
In my view one of the most distinctive features of the village of Praze-an-Beeble are the terraces of granite built houses which run along both sides of the main street.

Stile or Cattle Grid?
This was photographed on the eastern side of Praze-an-Beeble where a footpath meets a byway. I don't know whether you would call this a stile or a cattle grid, either way it performs the same function, it keeps large farm animals in the field while letting people through. The metal pole across the top is a more recent addition and probably serves to bar the way to two wheeled vehicles.
