Cober Valley viaduct
This fine granite viaduct carried the former Helston branch line over the River Cober until the line closed in October 1964. An attempt to reopen at least part of the line is currently underway - see http://www.helstonrailway.co.uk for details.

Sithney: Upper or Tregannock Mill, Lower Town
Now a farm outbuilding but previously a watermill, fed by a long leat from the river Cober. Water from its tail race also powered Anvower or Lower Mill. The hipped (or often half-hipped) roof is typical of surviving earlier west country mills.

Under the line
This bridge carries the trackbed of the Helston branch line over a bridleway; a few yards south-east is the impressive granite viaduct over the Cober Valley.
