Truro River
Newham was once the Truro terminus for the West Cornwall Railway and later became a goods depot for the GWR/BR. This building is all that remains of that era.

West shore showing offices and other commercial buildings along Newham Road. This was once the terminus for the old West Cornwall Railway that ran from Penzance to Truro, later, it became a goods depot for the GWR/BR. The stone building, second from right, is all that remains from that era and is now a listed building.

Inside Skinners Brewery
A view of some of the brewing kit of this 25 Barrel (900 gallon) plant. This volume means Skinners still qualifies as a "micro" brewery, however the good people in the brewery are working flat out to slake the thirst of Cornwall and beyond.
