Falmouth: a busy crane-scape
I'm pretty sure crane-scape isn't a real word, but it should be for this view towards Falmouth town centre beyond all the metalwork of the dockyard cranes.
The windsock is mounted on the end of the yellow crane.

Falmouth: view over the docks
I can't think of many large dock towns which have such good views over the dockyard - here you really get a sense of the scale of the land and the buildings and the busyness, with the town centre visible farther along the Penryn River estuary.

The premises of A&P Shipbuilding, which has the maintenance contract for the fleet of four ships of the Bay Class of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. L3008 Mounts Bay can be seen moored to the right.

HMS Vincent Memorial, Falmouth Docks
I assume that this was the anchor of HMS Vincent which was launched at Plymouth in 1815 and broken up at Falmouth in 1906. It is just inside the dock gates.
