Salcombe Coffee Company
Fore Street has a highly irregular width, varying from narrow to very narrow. Yet somehow there is room for tables and chairs outside this coffee house (about the only one in town, which seems surprising).

Salcombe: watering place in Fore Street
This fountain is alongside the Victoria Inn, opposite the little car park. The stone directly above it states "TAKE NOTICE Whoever - is found cleaning fish, or creating any other nuisance at this watering place, will be prosecuted according to law."
There is a lower access to the water marked specifically for 'DOGS'.
Another notice to the right is a 2001 award by South Hams District Council for voluntary effort in the category of Community of the Year.
