Vintage Ploughing
A vintage plough pulled by steam traction engines. One engine was at each end of the field and took it in turns to pull the plough towards them, the traction engines communicated with each other by whistle signals. By today's standards it must have been labour intensive and laborious but compared to ploughing with horses must have been a great leap forward. The photograph was taken at the Kingsbridge Working Vintage Rally 2014.
