Juvenile jackdaw
A recently fledged juvenile jackdaw (Corvus monedula) in Torcross. This jackdaw was on a wall beside a footpath with one of its parents. The mature bird flew off and I expected the juvenile to do the same but it remained allowing me to photograph it. Immediately I had passed by the parent returned.
