Kingsbridge Grammar School was founded in 1670 and the 2-storey building was constructed in local stone under a slate roof. The 4-storey annexe, gable end to the street in Tudor style, was probably added in the early 19th century. The building is now home to the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum.
