Plaque on organ of St Mary's Brixham
The organ was a bequest in 1910 from Henrietta Chilcote of Hill House, nearby, in memory of her father Paul Chilcote and brother Herbert Nicholas Chilcote, both doctors. Paul practised in London then moved to St. Marychurch, where his son practised. Both are buried in the grave yard, together with Henrietta and other members of the Chilcote family.

The pathway to the right leads up to the Royal British Legion Club. The neat gravestones sit happily in the landscape outside the church. The church door beckons on the left.
