Lauriston, Home of Flora Thompson, New Road, Brixham
The plaque on this house states the following: "Flora Thompson came to Brixham in 1940 and completed her three novels - "Over to Candelford", Candelford Green" and "Still Glides the Stream" in this house." Torbay Civic Society On reviewing this picture, I noticed that there is apparently an image of a face in the middle window pane on the right. I don't know what this is, as the house is set well back from the road and I used a long lens shot. Maybe it's just a drawing behind the window.
