Daffodils, Dartmouth Road, Waterside
The "municipal" planting of daffodils has made the stretch of dual carriageway look really attractive. These daffodils have multiplied each year, but this year they have never looked so good. It's a cheering prospect for the walker, cyclist or motorist.

Daffodils, Dartmouth Road, Three Beaches, Paignton
Another view of the daffodils at Waterside. The Dartmouth Road is the main coast road to Brixham. To go to Dartmouth, one has to take a turn off a mile or so from Brixham and then catch a ferry across the river Dart.

Holiday park, Waterside Road, near three Beaches
Holiday camps used to be more common in the Torbay area. Traditional holidays have changed and so there are fewer. They never did enhance the appearance of the environment, but they do enable visitors to enjoy the South Devon coast.

Dual Carriageway on Dartmouth Road, Three Beaches, Paignton
The dual carriageway has only one lane for cars now, the other is for buses and cyclists. And about time the traffic mania of the 60s was out into reverse. This route was cut through he hillside.
