Bishop's Palace Tower, Paignton
Ancient and appealing in the sandstone of South Devon. So close to the hubbub of the main shopping street. When this was built, the beach was much nearer to the tower and has since receded to about half a mile away.

Paignton buildings [26]
Numbers 70 and 72 Winner Street are two shops with accommodation above. Built circa 1840 with circa 1865 alterations and late 19th or early 20th century shopfronts. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1195218 Winner Street was the principal medieval thoroughfare in Paignton, named after the bishops' vineyard.
