Paignton, Isaac Merritt
Busy Wetherspoons pub on Torquay Road, named after a scion of the American Singer family, who lived at Image Internally, bar to right, drinking and eating areas left; garden, games machine. Eight cask ales were on offer at my visit. The pub is listed in the Good Beer Guide.

Torquay Road and Victoria Park, Paignton
From the path along the south side of the park, with a bus heading into town, and intermittent arcades of shops mixed with houses on the other side of the A3022. The brick tower belongs to the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart & St Thérèse of the Child Jesus.
