No ball games
No fun to be had here, though it appears to be OK to drive cars onto the grass. The tree growing beyond the parked cars is a Torbay Palm (Cordyline australis) which is not really a palm at all. The housing is in Pendennis Road, Hele.

Perfect play place (1)
Torbay Council have provided a couple of wooden decked areas among the trees on the hillside of Windmill Hill above Pendennis Road as play areas for children. Although there were no children around at the time I passed by, the wear on the ground clearly shows that the site is popular - and deservedly so. Fresh air, exercise and nature are surely more than a match for chips and computer games? Another view: Image
