Kniphofia and container
Much of the southern part of Warren Road resembles (indeed, is) a building site as large houses or former hotels are gutted, refurbished, extended, demoished or rebuilt. Here, a patch of red hot poker make a defiant stand in front of a container that can't be part of an operating hotel's garden. In the background is the elegant Villa Rosa.

Unstable wall - do not park
On Warren Road. I suppose the odds are against it collapsing on the very day one parks beside it - but then I looked at Streetview, and the same car is parked here, within a foot or so.

Vacant site, Shedden Hill
Part of the site of the Shedden Hall Hotel, pictured at various stages of its later life at Image, Image and Image One of these was taken on the day of a mysterious fire which destroyed the nearby Palm Court Hotel, a fate which the Shedden Hall mysteriously seems to have escaped.
