Jordan Lodge masonic hall, Torquay
The facade of this building faces Image; this gable overlooks the junction with Higher Union Lane. The building dates from 1898, but the lodge was founded on 22nd August 1872, meeting at Parkhill Road.

Reclaiming Castle Circus, Torquay
"Bid to reclaim Castle Circus" is the headline and this is Castle Circus (well, the main area is opposite, shown in Image and Image). The story refers to a plan "to rejuvenate the area which has been a hotspot for drug, drink and anti-social behaviour problems for many years" http://www.thisisdevon.co.uk/Bid-reclaim-Torquay-s-Castle-Circus/story-16482021-detail/story.html . But it doesn't seem many years since the area was last refurbished.
