Another shop closes in Torquay; this is on Fleet Street, billed as "now THE destination for style-conscious shoppers" www.fleetwalkshoppingtorquay.co.uk . Perhaps that's why it doesn't fit in.

Morning dog walk
It's early on a Saturday morning and the upper deck of the car park is empty, so it's as good a place as any round these parts to take your dogs for a walk. On the other side of the Fleet valley are St John's Church and no 3 Montpellier Road (recently repainted - see Image). Seen from Rock Road.

Fleet Street, Torquay
Proper kerbs have been installed in Fleet Street; for many years there have been none, so that buses have proceeded at snail's pace behind pedestrians who naturally assumed that they were strolling along a pedestrianised road. But it's been a lengthy business; buses can now head in the direction of the camera, but it's now well over four months since they have been able to travel in the other direction.
