Old wall amid modern housing, Bishopsteignton
The view is from the top of Cockhaven Close. A look at old-maps.co.uk shows that in 1899 it was the western wall of an extensive garden belonging to a property called The Moors, one of several such large established properties in this part of the village. A map of 1978 shows it as Moors Hotel. Currently it is Moors Park House, a residential care home specialising in dementia care. The distant house to the right is one of many built in the former grounds.
