Anstey's Cove Road
Presumably the (one-way) road will need to be closed before this remaining piece of the Palace Hotel is demolished. The footbridge linked the hotel to its sports complex, already gone. See also http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=124100700 .

Surviving fragments
Demolition of the once grand 4-star Palace Hotel is almost complete. Just one part of the hotel and some walls of the coach house remain standing today.
The site will be redeveloped to provide a new luxury hotel, with 38 detached houses in the former hotel's grounds.

A sad sight
The once grand 4-star Palace Hotel, which in part dates from 1841, and closed in 2017, is currently being demolished. The site will be redeveloped to provide a 5-star luxury destination spa hotel and 38 detached houses in the former hotel's grounds.
