The Marsh Path, Bovey Tracey
A footpath across the Bovey valley that links the river bridge at the foot of the old town with later urban developments towards the potteries to the south. "Marsh" is probably the key to why the open space on the right was never developed. Ahead can be seen Image The hill behind the town rises steeply to Bearacleave Wood.

Mistletoe, Bovey Tracey
Frequently seen high up in trees, especially in Somerset, but I was surprised to see mistletoe growing in an easily accessible spot, on this cherry tree by Indio Road. I wouldn't expect to see it survive here beyond Christmas. Update ed - not so, see Image
