These cottages, opposite Image on Newton Road, are Grade II listed. The Listed Building status applies to their gateposts and their front garden railings too.

pieces intended to create a mosaic effect ... Unified facade in Victorian Gothic style, basically symmetrical but with many deliberate variations and inconsistencies".
