This narrow lane climbs away from the T-junction at the cottages towards Blackingstone Quarry and Rock.

Mud and bales near Didworthy Cottages
From close to the sharp bend mentioned in Image (a lane which is absent from some maps, and shown as a mere track on others, but which I had just driven down to take this). Just visible on the extreme left past the tree is Blackingstone Rock, shining in the late sunshine.

Blackingstone Rock - Dartmoor
One of the most eastern Dartmoor tors. Unusual in that it is surrounded by fertile farmland and is easily accessible. There's even a little ladder to help you up to the top!

Lane near Blackingstone Rock
This is the left-hand of the two lanes shown in Image seen from about 200 metres along its course, looking back towards the junction. At the camera position, a track and parking area (handy for visiting the rock) provides a link between the two lanes.
