Chagford Square
The centre of Chagford, which became a stannary town, where the locally-mined tin could be traded, in 1305. On the immediate right is James Bowden & Son, an ironmongery business with a huge range of stock.

Traffic congestion is a common sight in this busy village, where road widths are narrow and corners sharp. Parking spaces are at a premium.

Aladdin's cave
Webber and Sons, High Street Chagford. Situated next door is an almost identical shop James Bowden and Son.
You name it and between them they have it or it doesn't exist, a truly amazing pair of shops.

Market house, Chagford
This octagonal building stands in the middle of the square and dates from 1862. Difficult to photograph without the parked cars that pack closely around it. A pair of legs has taken up residence within the gabled porch.

So highly polished it's catching the reflection of the car across the road.
An immaculate Morris Minor 1000 Convertible in the Square at Chagford.
The first car I had was a Morris Traveller but this will do.
