Bench without a view
When it was put there, this bench at the side of Lincombe Drive, Torquay, would have had a fine view to Hope's Nose and over the sea. Unfortunately, the growth of trees below the road has obscured the view.

Garden and house, Lincombe Drive
Lincombe Keep has been built at the foot of the gardens of Castle Tor, one of only four gardens in Torbay designated in the National Register of Gardens of Historical Interest. The terraced garden dates from the 1930s and was designed by Fred Harrild, a Pupil of Lutyens, although this lower section, with its ornamental architectural features, may be later (Cherry & Pevsner).
