Junction, Old Liverton
The only obvious change since Image was taken twelve and a half years previously is the growth of one or two trees, one of them obscuring the gable end behind the outbuilding on the corner. Another change is that this village, previously Liverton, is now mapped as Old Liverton, while Liverton is now the village to the east previously named Coldeast. Confusing.

Junction, Liverton
This curious structure always intrigues me whenever I pass. It couldn't be in a more prominent position in the village, yet it is obviously a very modest building. The quiet lane on the right leads to Halford; the main lane is for the outside world.

Time moves on
Necessities of the 21st century - cars, motor bikes, wheelie bins, tv aerials and overhead cables... all look so out of place in a sleepy sunlit Devon village. The village is Liverton.
