Forde House at Newton Abbot
The house is now known as Old Forde House. William of Orange stayed here in 1688 on his way from Brixham to London.

Swans, Aller Brook
Three cygnets move smoothly at walking pace up the brook between their parents. They are approaching, appropriately, Pen Inn, though what the cob would have to say if he wasn't mute ... Seen from Newton Abbot Footpath 37, here running amid trees.
