New Thatched Cottages, Deane Road, Stokeinteignhead, Devon
New thatched cottages under construction. Obviously pastiche, using modern materials and construction standards and techniques, but planning constraints would have required an external appearance, not apparent at this stage of construction, to match the older cottages opposite. See related geograph.

Church House Inn, Stokeinteignhead
The rear of the pub shown in http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=44106610 , seen from the car park at dusk. The listed building description at http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1170600&searchtype=mapsearch was written before the fire that gutted the pub in 1993.

Stokeinteignhead Post Office
And village store - the sign in the window reads "Stokeinteignhead village shop needs you". Not today, alas - it is closed for refurbishment, so I had to take my business elsewhere. An even bigger transformation to the scene shown in Image is the removal of the creeper during the last four years.
