1369 at Buckfastleigh, 1969
This was in the first year of operation as a heritage railway. Work had not started on the A38 and the station layout had not been changed from that left by BR. This area is now under the A38. The locomotive is of the 1366 class, a 1938 pannier tank rehash of the saddle tank 1361 class of 1910, but apart from a 10% higher boiler pressure, almost identical in essentials. One of each has been preserved.
