Axminster Carpets Factory Outlet, Buckfast
Image, taken a day earlier, shows the gates on the right. An interesting arrangement on the left; the first section of the building is Buckfast post office, which you go through to enter the factory shop; or you can enter via the car park through the gates.

Buckfast Lower Mill
Home to the Buckfast Spinning Company, a modern textile operation and one of the few left in the West Country. It supplies all the yarn for Axminster carpets. There are a few older buildings that I couldn't get a satisfactory view of and a leat that probably supplies a water turbine. Buckfast Abbey is seen in the background.
