Railway underpass, Bexhill-on-Sea
It is difficult to see why originally such a large bridge was ever erected at this point or even why this modern replacement was put in place.
There is barely six foot clearance under the bridge crossing this footpath which leads to the seafront.

Grosvenor Park Care Home and Homewarr House
Two large blocks on De La Warr Parade. In the early 20th Century the site was part of a golf course. Grosvenor House, on the left, was built in 1958 as the Alf Evans Memorial Convalescent Home, serving members of the National Union of Printing, Bookbinders and Paper Workers, named after Alfred Evans who had been general secretary of the union and its predecessors in the early 1900s. It is now a residential care home, the Grosvenor Park Care Home.
Homewarr House, on the right, is a block of retirement flats completed in 1986.
