Wild angelica and fleabane, Marline Valley Nature Reserve
A range of marshland plants grows in a wet area alongside the stream in the valley bottom in the most northerly field of the reserve. The two most obvious plants here are the wild angelica (Angelica sylvestris) with the white umbels and yellow-flowered fleabane (Pulicaria dysenterica). The reserve is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust and leased from Hastings Borough Council

Great horsetails, Marline Valley Nature Reserve
These great horsetails (Equisetum telmateia) grow in a marshy area of one of the meadows in the Marline Valley Nature Reserve in St Leonards-on-Sea. The reserve is managed jointly by the Sussex Wildlife Trust and Hastings Borough Council.
