Numbers 1 & 2 Tilly House on the eastern side of Sedlescombe Street. The workshop of R N French, a radio and TV retail and repair company, used to stand here. The rough road coming down from the left is the end of Long Lane.

Long Lane
The southern end of Long Lane where it joins the B2244 main road through Sedlescombe. The house centre left is Rose Cottage and the red fence surrounds the area where development is taking place following the recent demolition of the Roselands old people's home.

The Street, Sedlescombe
Looking south down the B2244 into Sedlescombe Street. The pink flowers centre right beside Rose Cottage are Nerines, or Bowden lilies, in full flower in early November. They have been a feature here every autumn for some years.
