View from St George's Churchyard at Brede
The church is from the Perpendicular period but with earlier parts. A Norman church was given a south aisle at about 1200 and a north aisle around 1300. In the 14th century the Norman chancel was extended with north and south chapels and then a new Perpendicular chancel was built. The church is high up with superb views from the churchyard to the south as can be seen here.
