Hall Cottage
Swan Street ends at the bend then an unnamed lane heads right towards Potman's Heath. The footpath to Blackwell Bridge is straight ahead.

Swan Street by Hall Cottage
The road was signed as closed except for access. There was a succession of excavations such as these over a fair stretch of the road, but through passage was easily possible. This was perhaps because there was no sign of work in progress at any point.
