Pleasance Road Central, Lydd on Sea
Sums up the undeveloped aspect of Lydd on Sea. The road should have run parallel to Coast Drive from Lade south to the Pilot Inn, however, the plans for a great resort envisaged in the 1930s ground to halt due to the war and tougher planning laws. Consequently, the road is now subdivided into three parts, the most develop to the north at Lade, a few bungalows to the south next to the Pilot Inn and this central section containing two bungalows.
