Royal Oak, Park Street
Originally two cottages which were joined together, and extended.
Unfortunately the necessity to photograph straight into the sun, has made the result far more contrasty than is ideal.

Three shops on the corner of High Street and Oak Lane
On the left is the Two Bob Shop (Two shillings in pre-decimal currency; 10 pence in our present decimal currency). In the middle is Lydd Fish Bar (a fish and chip shop). On the right is Corrina's Unisex Hairdressers. The entrance to this is round the corner in Oak Lane.
