View from a Romney-Dungeness train - Old Pillbox near St. Mary's Bay
The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is a 15 in (381 mm) gauge light railway opened in 1927.
This area would have been the front line at the time the pillbox was built. Even the RH&DR was taken over by the military from 1940-45.
