Hoarding, Queens Road/Grand Parade
Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y13/1206/SH for the “erection of a part two, part three and part five storey building of 18 apartments and lower ground floor office (Class B1(a)) space with associated access, parking and landscaping”. The location was described as “land adjoining 143, Queens Road” and used to be a Image

Derelict site on the corner of Queen?s Road/Grand Parade
This was the location of Claverley House, which can be seen in these views of Image and Image The hedge has grown tall and rampant during the intervening years.
A block of flats called Image has been erected on the site (2019).
