Horton Priory from Moorstock Lane
Horton Priory, founded in 1144 by Robert de Vere. Now a private residence. My Great Grandfather worked here in the 1930's and 1940's for John Jameson Cairns who owned it during that period. It was occupied by the army during the second world war.

Moorstock Lane
The house in the centre of the picture was referred to as Archers' because it was owned by the Archers who ran a rose nursery for many years including the 1930's and 40's.
