The Twittens, Bridge Street
Compared with, Image that was taken looking the other way, plants have been added to the front gardens. I noticed that there was a house name of 57b Lower Twitten affixed to the wall beside the further door. Perhaps it has been felt that there was no need to name the other part of the terrace. The path takes pedestrians to Bridge Street. A twitten is a narrow lane between two walls or hedges. One can see why the houses were given this name; they were crammed onto a small site.
