North-easterly view from Mill End, Kingsnorth in 1989
The houses at the bottom of the meadow are in Church Hill. In the middle distance the church tower of St Mary's, Ashford can just be seen, while in the far distance is the line of the North Downs. Nowadays this view would be mostly obscured by the housing development of Myrtle Court, which was built on the lower half of the meadow.
