Water tower at Sheffield Park Station.
This heritage railway is operated by the Bluebell Railway. Operations started less than 3 years after British Rail closed the line in 1957. Water towers are an essential part of the infrastructure on a steam railway because locomotives need copious quantities of H2O. A simple 'garden hose' cannot supply that large volume quickly enough for efficient running.

The condition of the motion suggests it is greased up for storage - it is certainly parked off the beaten track.

45 ton breakdown crane at Sheffield Park, 1991
I think this was just a demonstration or test, it wasn't going anywhere fast: the chain around the pit is looped around the buffer of the match wagon. This was originally an LNER crane, delivered by Ransomes and Rapier in 1943.
