See Image for more information. The eastern end of the playing field is lined by a number of mature limes separating the park from the A22. In the distance are some of the cottages and houses that line the northern side of the green, some from the days when it was a small common. The houses from left to right are Timberyard Cottages, Fairfield House and Brushwood.

Nutley Arms
Now the only pub in the village where there was once three. The building dates from 1928 and was constructed to replace an older beerhouse of the same that had existed next door. Originally known as the William IV the name change appears to have been fairly recent. The pub is opposite Ford's Green on the A22.
