The Church of St Chad - Churchyard
The churchyard was "levelled" (the stones laid flat) in 1864, when the Ref. Silver created another outside the village, on the road to Knighton. The grass has almost entirely engulfed the stones now.

There is a small niche above the arch which contains a figure of St Chad dressed as a bishop. I wholly failed to photograph it separately. This arch, and the North Transept date from 1872

The Church of St Chad - The Vestry
The small vestry was added at an unknown date. But since the North Transept (seen behind it) dates from 1872, it may have been built then.

In addition to Image there is this font from the 19th century, crammed in next to the pulpit. It is carved from Caen stone, with eight polished green marble pillars.
