The Salopian Star, Stafford Street
Opposite Cross Street and the Stafford Court Hotel, this is an interesting old building, with a curious room built out over the porch. The Kings Arms, in Shropshire Street, has one too. Christmas has come early or stayed late, because the neon sign hanging to the left of the little room reads 'Merry Christmas'.
